I just picked up Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (mobile game) again around a month ago after taking a very long hiatus. To my surprise, much had changed and for the better! There seems to be so much more to explore and there is so much to catch up on. I’m loving it!

I found out from a friend that TMR farming is a MUST in order to get the good gear for our units. I quickly loaded up Nox and then experimented with TMR farming. After weeks of farming, I finally have a few good ones like Rikku’s Pouch (Rikku), Ribbon (Kefka), Dual Wield (Zidane), Excalibur (Cecil), Brotherhood (Tidus), Blade Mastery (Chizuru) and etc. I still have A LOT of TMRs to farm considering my long hiatus so I’m pretty much doing that all the time now. Thankfully with emulators and macros, my phone can rest and not work 24/7.

Sidenote: For a few days after the last maintenance, I’ve been experiencing the “Please log in” issue that kept resetting the game and messing up the TMR farming. Thank goodness that issue has been fixed because TMR farming became a real drag where I had to babysit my emulator :/

Speaking of issues, a personal problem I had with TMR farming is that it would always use up my good friend units. Especially for the Nier raid right now, I need all the strongest friend units I can get help from against the boss!! This is not good.

So anyhow, this is probably a “duh” solution for most but it finally hit me that I can filter my friend units while TMR farming to EXCLUDE the friend units that I want to use for raid. Since I use a lot of friend Orlandeau, Tidus, A2, 2B, etc. I just didn’t include their specific series in my filter while I TMR farmed. Now, when my raid orbs have refilled, I have my strong friend units to raid with and none of the other units that I don’t need — woohoo! Problem solved.

I hope this helps some other players out there who are just getting into the game and starting to TMR farm.
