I was feeling pretty “meh” when I first pulled the Hope legendary job because I really wanted the Snow job, which I haven’t been able to pull yet 😞. However, after spending a week or so with Hope, I love the f*%@ing job!!! Using Hope, I was able to score almost 400m points in Chapter 5 Part 1 (dark mobs end node)! It’s crazy how much stronger his Light attack is compared to the Tactician’s. I haven’t even transferred the good skill cards (Magic+ 8%) onto him yet and he’s already a beast 💪 #HopeTheBeast yo!
Side note: It was funny watching WoL dressed up as Hope interact with Lightning on the FF13 event. WoL looks like a fanboy in cosplay 😂😂😂
This experience reminded me of when I obtained the Mythic Sage job a long time ago. I remember at that time the consensus around the sub reddit community is that the Mythic Sage job is the worst job of the bunch. After getting it, I didn’t pay much attention to the job. One day, I joined a multiplayer game on Discord and watched another player completely pulverize the sicariuses with Mythic Sage. I was amazed – soooo strong 😍!! After that, I tested the job out myself and ended up loving it and using it all the time.
It’s funny how things turned out – the jobs I didn’t care much for ended up being my favorite ones. I guess I have to spend more time testing things out for myself rather than believing what others say at face value.
After giving it some thought, it also made sense that I pulled Hope since most of my strongest cards and weapons are for the Mage class. Rock on, mages!
Now I’m pretty stoked that I got Hope and I am curious if others love the job as much as I do. It’s a rather strong job with decent defense and breaking power. And if you were lucky enough to pull Minwu, the Hope job pairs amazingly well with it. Now I’ll just have to wait for the Meia class to come out and for Amartya to be released 😏
Speaking of… I pulled a total of 15 or 20 Hopes in Exvius. He’s stalking me!!! 😱 That’s one game where I don’t want too many of him lol. His TMR is decent but not that great. RNGesus, more Gilgameshes please 🙏 😉
